Sheila McKechnie as the Macmillan Nurse is the palliative nurse specialist working in the community in Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula. She provides symptom management advice, and emotional, psychological and informational support to patients and their families affected by life limiting illnesses.

Sheila works closely with GPs, Hospital Clinical Nurse Specialists, Community Nurses, the Social Services and with other members of the multi-professional team supported by the Hospice Trust.
